RAGAD accepts unsolicited submissions of fiction and nonfiction, 2500 words or less, for consideration in our online and print editions. Currently, print installments through # 6 are full, but you can submit for print installments thereafter. NO POETRY! SERIOUSLY! We'll hurt you (not really, but we won't respond to you). RAGAD does consider reprints, but on a case-to-case basis. Submit something new, something fresh. Send one story at a time as a Word attachment with SUBMISSION in the subject line to editor Nick Ostdick at submissions@ragadzine.com. Make sure you include all contact information, at least an email address, in the body of your submission, along with a short bio about yourself. Response time is running about two months right now, sometimes shorter, sometimes longer. We read year-round. While RAGAD is not a paying market, we offer you our eternal friendship as well as the opportunity to read at one of our many Chicago-area readings.
